Control of Hazardous Energy
Control of Hazardous Energy Programs, also known as Lock Out/Tag Out Programs, are required by OSHA to ensure that all machinery, or equipment, is properly shut down and managed during service or maintenance to the machinery.
CCI will prepare a written program which outlines all necessary procedures to ensure your company complies with the standards outlined by OSHA. Per the requirements, the written program will include guidelines identifying the use of specific procedural steps for shutting the equipment down and steps for affixing the appropriate lock out or tag out devices for your machinery, and steps to test the procedures to determine effectiveness.
Annual Audits and Training
To ensure the Lock Out/Tag Out Program remains compliant, CCI will provide annual training programs and Annual Procedural Audits. CCI will come to your site and review the procedures in action to ensure all steps are being followed correctly and are relevant to the regulations.
