Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure Plans (SPCC)
The EPA requires companies to implement procedures for proper storage of fuels and oils to prevent spills, control measures to prevent a spill from expanding beyond secondary containment, and countermeasures to contain, clean up and mitigate the effects of a spill if it were to occur.
CCI will evaluate your current procedures and storage configuration then provide a comprehensive plan including a facility diagram, types of materials and storage containers, prevention measures for handling and storage, drainage controls, countermeasures, disposal and spill reporting.
Revised SPCC Requirements
The EPA has revised the SPCC requirements to include additional requirements for secondary containment on all Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST) and portable containers, as well as new regulations regarding transfer areas.
Contact CCI to learn more about the new regulations.
